The ITB (International Tourism Exchange Berlin) is the world's largest trade fair for tourism. Destinations, travel agencies, hotels, software providers, airlines and car rental companies are present on a total of 160.000 square meters with 10.000 exhibitors of 180 countries.

This year's strikes of the flight personnel did not stop our team. We met numerous international existing customers and partners. On the second day of the fair our presentation in the 'eTravel-hall' attracted many visitors and interesting talks evolved.

In retrospect, it was a great pleasure for us to have been invited to a discussion and to have talked about revenue management in the leisure hotel industry, since we were on the same stage as leading managers of global players like Google, TUI, Hilton, or Lufthansa.

This year's fair was undoubtedly characterized by the increased security needs of the travelers, especially when we were talking to international partners. Nevertheless, people will not stop traveling, and in the next few years, another 'boom' in the European market can be observed Market, just this makes revenue management even more exciting.
